Dr Nat Alcock on Mediaeval Peasant houses in Warwickshire and the Midlands.
Nat Alcock is the leading expert on the mediaeval peasant houses which are still standing in villages in Warwickshire. In bringing together archival research, detailed architectural study and the science of tree-ring dating this talk will give a fascinating insight into the social organisation of houses at a time when documentary evidence is sparce.
